New adaptive fashion platform offers suits, shirts, and tuxedos tailored to individual body types—including wheelchair users—delivered worldwide in six weeks
Sweden – March 26, 2025 — Today marks the official launch of WearAble by Lega, a pioneering fashion brand redefining how people with disabilities access and experience professional clothing. Created to solve a long-standing gap in the fashion industry, WearAble offers made-to-measure suits, shirts, and tuxedos for both men and women—specifically designed to fit diverse body types, including those who sit in a wheelchair or have unique physical proportions.
Using a streamlined online measurement guide, customers can submit their measurements from home and receive custom-fitted garments delivered within six weeks. The launch marks a major milestone in adaptive fashion and inclusive design—bringing style, dignity, and professionalism to a community too often overlooked by mainstream fashion.

“We believe everyone deserves the right to feel confident and included—especially in professional settings,” said David Lega, founder of WearAble by Lega and long-time advocate for disability rights and inclusion. “This brand isn’t just about fashion. It’s about opportunity. It’s about walking—or rolling—into a job interview or a boardroom and knowing your clothes reflect who you are.”
The brand builds on the legacy of LegaWear, a company originally founded by Lega over 15 years ago to create clothing solutions for people with disabilities. With a renewed mission and modern design, WearAble by Lega is focused on empowering individuals to express themselves confidently and comfortably through clothing that truly fits their bodies—and their lives.

As part of its launch, WearAble is also kicking off its RoleModel campaign—a global call for individuals who want to represent the values of inclusion, strength, and leadership.
Anyone over the age of 18, regardless of disability, background, or modeling experience, is encouraged to apply. Applicants are asked to submit a short video (max 2 minutes) sharing their personal story and why they want to be a WearAble RoleModel. Videos can be sent to info@wearablebylega.com, and more details can be found via the online application form.
“This isn’t about modeling clothes—it’s about being a role model in life,” Lega said. “We’re looking for people who inspire others through who they are, not just how they look. WearAble is about real people, real stories, and real representation.”
The fashion industry has made strides in representation, but true inclusion remains rare—especially when it comes to professional wear. Many people with disabilities still struggle to find clothing that fits properly, meets workplace standards, and reflects their personal style. WearAble’s launch is a bold response to that reality.
WearAble by Lega is now accepting orders and applications worldwide. The collection includes suits, shirts, and tuxedos, each made-to-measure with the help of the brand’s unique online fitting process.
