VOTE-BUYING IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM, BORRELL
Today we asked @JosepBorrellF why the @EU_Commission‘s Albania 2020 Report does not mention ‘vote-buying’. Legal proceedings against those accused of vote-buying is a key priority for the EU, and not the least for the @EPPGroup.
As the @EPPGroup standing and monitoring rapporteur on Albania, I will always focus on rule of law and democracy. Vote-buying is undoubtedly a serious democratic problem, and cannot be accepted in an EU candidate country.
