Friday evening I went down to Särö, just outside Goteborg, to meet and talk to the players of Sweden’s Under 21 National Team in Soccer.
They had their first team meeting before the European Championships to be held in Sweden this summer. I was there to talk about how I prepared for my most important competitions and my reflections about sport and life. It was really great evening, to talk to and exchange thoughts with those who will do their first major events competing for our country.
Head Coach of the team is Tommy Söderberg, former head coach of the Swedish Soccer Team. He is an inspiring man, with so many thoughts on personal development and team leadership. I really enjoyed this Friday and look forward to meeting the team soon again. I will meet and talk to some of the players in the team individually this semester as well.
